Real human receptionists · Alaska-based · For law offices

When your attorneys are in court, we answer the intake call.

Frontier Reception is human front desk support for law firms — injury, family, criminal, estate, and general practice. When your attorneys are in a hearing, with a client, or heads-down on a brief, a trained receptionist answers in your firm's name, takes the new-client intake with your exact questions, runs your conflict screen, and books the consultation — before that caller dials the next firm on their list.

Starts at $325/mo · billed on the calls we handle, never per minute

Human receptionists. Not AI.

Your callers should hear a person — not a script-reader, not a bot, not a call center.

Frontier Reception

A calm, trained extension of your front desk.

  • Real receptionists, following your instructions
  • Your greeting, your tone, your rules
  • Documented call notes and intake questions
  • Urgent calls routed the way you decide
What we're not

An AI receptionist or a generic call center.

  • Not an automated voice or chat bot
  • Not a high-volume call floor reading scripts
  • Not a replacement for your team — a support for it
  • No headset clichés, no scripts read at your callers
01 / Why it matters for law offices

The caller who reaches a person retains the firm that answered.

A potential client with a real legal problem is calling three or four firms in a row. The one that picks up with a calm, professional intake — not a voicemail — is usually the one they hire. When your attorneys can't get to the phone, we make sure yours is the firm that answered.

— 01

Every new-client intake reaches a person

An intake call is your highest-value call — one signed injury case can carry a five-figure contingency fee, and even a routine estate plan is a four-figure engagement. We pick up when your attorneys are in court or with a client, so a “do you handle divorces?” becomes a booked consultation instead of a voicemail that caller never waited around to leave. Plans start at $325 a month — about one billable hour.

— 02

We take intake — we never give advice

We ask your exact intake questions, run your conflict and scope screen, and note the matter type — then stop. No opinion on the merits, no fee quotes, no “you probably have a case.” The caller feels heard and screened, and your attorney is the first person to actually advise them.

— 03

Discreet, professional, and by your rules

Callers describing an injury, a custody fight, or a criminal charge are anxious and private. A trained receptionist handles them calmly and confidentially, routes the time-sensitive matter the way you decide, and passes existing-client messages to the right paralegal or attorney — without pulling your team out of the courtroom.

02 / A day on the phones

Real calls your firm gets — handled your way

These are the calls that come in while your attorneys are unavailable. Here's how a trained receptionist handles each one, following the rules you set during onboarding.

  • “I was just arrested last night and I have arraignment tomorrow morning — can someone call me back today?”

We flag it time-sensitive per your rules — you define what's urgent, we capture and route. Charge, court, and arraignment time taken, conflict check run, details texted and emailed to your criminal attorney the same day instead of sitting in a voicemail box while the clock runs.

  • “I think my husband was served divorce papers and I need to talk to a lawyer before I sign anything.”

We take the family-law intake with your questions — county, whether children are involved, whether anything's been filed — and screen for a conflict against the opposing party. No advice on what to sign; we book the consultation and mark it confidential for the attorney's eyes.

  • “I'm an existing client — I just need to know if my closing is still set for Friday.”

We recognize it's a current matter, take the message with the client and case reference, and route it to the assigned paralegal or attorney by your rules — so a quick status question doesn't pull a lawyer out of a meeting or die in a general voicemail.

  • “My mother passed and I don't even know where to start with her estate.”

We answer with warmth, take the probate intake — county, whether there's a will, the caller's relationship — and check for conflicts. We don't opine on the estate; we schedule the consultation and pass along everything so the attorney can pick up right where the caller left off.

03 / Common questions

The questions we hear most.

Will callers know it's not my own front desk?

No. We answer in your firm's name with the greeting and script you give us, and we follow your intake sheet. To the caller it's simply your office picking up — a calm, professional person who takes their information and gets them scheduled. Most callers never know the reception is handled off-site.

Can you run our new-client intake and conflict screen?

Yes — that's the core of what we do for firms. We ask your exact intake questions by matter type (PI, family, criminal, estate, and so on), collect the details your attorneys need, and run the conflict or scope check you define during onboarding. If a call trips a conflict flag or falls outside your practice areas, we handle it the way you've told us to instead of booking it.

Will you give legal advice or quote fees to callers?

Never. We take intake and schedule — we don't opine on the merits of a matter, predict outcomes, or quote fees. Those are your attorneys' calls, and we keep that line bright. Callers get a professional intake and a consultation; your lawyer is the first person to actually advise them.

How do you learn our practice areas and intake process?

During onboarding we set up your greeting, your intake questions by matter type, your conflict-screen rules, and your routing preferences with you — a real person configures it and confirms it before we take a live call. From then on, receptionists work from your script on every call, so what a caller hears is your firm's process, not a generic one.

Is this an AI or a bot answering my phone?

No. Your calls are answered by real people on our team during covered hours — we don't use AI voice agents. Outside covered hours, callers can reach a simple message that a person will follow up on the next business day.

Do you answer 24/7?

Not yet. We currently cover business hours and overflow — the busy stretches when your attorneys are in court or short-staffed, plus the calls that would otherwise ring out. After-hours coverage is available to a limited number of accounts case-by-case; ask on your discovery call if it's a fit.

How much does it cost?

Plans start at $325/month, billed on the calls we handle — never per minute. There's a one-time $199 setup that may be waived with a 6-month agreement. We'll recommend the right plan on your discovery call.

How soon will I hear back?

Within two business days, almost always sooner. A real person reviews every request and follows up to scope the right coverage for your firm.

Next step

Stop sending new clients to the next firm on the list.

Every intake call your attorneys miss is a case — and a fee — that walks to whoever answered. Let a trained, human receptionist catch those calls in your firm's name, screen them by your rules, and book the consultation. Tell us your practice areas and your intake questions, and we'll send a quote within two business days.
